Went to an antique place near Lancaster today that had this "quaint" sign amongst other similar ones. Is this from a poem/song or something? Seems too weird to be an anachronism (like another one about not letting your wife wear the britches)
There was a 24/7 worship tent on the national mall. They were just vamping on one chord and saying like, "Lord God, Jesus, our King..." My Christian college had a similar group that would be playing music in shifts. What I didn't get even when I believed is if you thought you were addressing an all powerful God why you wouldn't try to make better music. I know it's a lot of air to fill but kind of an important audience right?
Visited DC this week and saw this guy riding two of those rental scooters. Funny enough when I was in LA I saw I guy riding one scooter with another one mounted crossways on top of it. I guess sometimes you need a second scooter at your destination
