Apparently I’m running for South Oxfordshire District Council as “The Conservative Party Candidate”
If the free newspaper in my driveway was intended to encourage an upgrade from digital subscription to print edition perhaps the front page shouldn’t have a headline typo.

Here are two typos in an NC DOI document about Medicare Advantage plans where the acronym MOOP is correct but the explanation is not.

I was wondering why squirrels left half of each acorn behind. There’s science involved. These are red oak acorns. Squirrels consume white acorns immediately and store (and distribute) red acorns. The bottom half of the red acorn with the embryo has more bitter tannins. The squirrel enjoys the top half and there’s often enough energy in the remaining bottom half to sprout oak seedlings. Win for squirrels, win for red oaks.
