Jim Jurkovich, Cal Class of 1943, was born Nov. 27, 1922. A great 3-sport athlete, his football career was limited by multiple concussions, but his 100-yard interception return at USC remains a Cal record (since tied). He was my dad's cousin and the whole family drove from Fresno for his games.
