Computer intertangling by profession, but inclined to be deeply interested many things. I get soapboxy on Twitter but here is where I hope to blog fun stuff in my life and connect with people with similar obsessions. As hinted, this is a long list including 3D printing, motorcycle adventure riding, fish (not fishing), interesting hacks, gardening, bicycle riding, old movies, books, astronomy.

@molly0xfff I think its a mistake to hierarchicalize people based on their veganism - its a very weird metric to apply usefully other than to reinforce your own prejudices.

After a couple years of manually recording rainfall out here in the desert I've picked up a cheap internet connected weatherstation from Jaycar (Digitech XC0440). It pushes updates to WeatherUnderground https://bit.ly/3O0GJNV and Weathercloud https://bit.ly/48UCewn so data is automatically and meaningfully collated over time. And I never have to empty the rain guage - it just falls straight through
