I’ve just realised this was my 23rd Toot. When we encounter the number 23 it means we are nearing an especially dense zone in the collective unconscious and must pay special attention. Therefore it must be steeped in deep cosmic significance.
BY ERIS it contains 23 words too (if you count “about/featuring” as one word, and I am).
Now I am getting older I need a more genteel pro-anarchy project that results in politicians and police becoming so overwhelmed with natures beauty they quit their jobs and become voluntary gardeners for the council instead, for example.
I can’t shake the feeling The Fall *did* do a song about/featuring gnomes. I know Bowie did but I’m not thinking of that…

I did a search for “The fall gnomes” to see if The Fall ever did a song about gnomes, but instead it showed me autumn-themed gnomes, useless.
