https://sunbeam.city/@neauoire I didn't explain this properly. THE most useful equipment and technology I had aboard when crossing the Pacific, was a set of large buckets from HomeDepot. As we starting sinking, I got everyone to bail, for 72 hours non-stop. We fixed the problem, but no amount of high tech was going to stop us sinking, and my choice of buying a bucket per member of crew, was the best thing I ever did.

Stuff technology, the buckets were more important, and worked.

Oh, I had only just realised you are both vegan. I will not retract my comments on fishing(which were meant to be helpful).

We all have different points of view, different views on the world, we can choose what is important and valid for us.By mentioning fishing I never meant to be rude to your views, I hadn't realised you were vegan. But I stand by my views. ;) (If they can eat me, I'll eat them.) I do think eating fish if you're an ocean wanderer, is OK.

This bloke had sailed around Europe on his 'yacht', basically two kayaks connected together.

Super friendly too. Just fabulously friendly and inspiring.
