I managed to mess up the assembly of a MOS CPU Replacer. It's tight on that board and my soldering skills were completely absent today. Guess I'll order one ready made : (

That's better... I had a second kit and this time it worked perfectly: No more fancy flux, only the good old greasy kind from the bucket!
A lot of stuff gets hot in a VIC20, but I'm a bit shocked the RAM is burning up. I guess I'll heatsink the whole bunch, so I can play my beloved Cheese and Onion ...

I bought a modem. Because when they come into fashion again and we're all on BBSes again, I will want to have a nice one...
Finally got me a case for the great C128 video adapter... It was easier to find a local 3D printing service than to find or make room for a printer at home. With only an occasional print and no shipping costs, it may be the better option for me ...
