recently switched to endeavourOS (btw) because fedora and gnome in particular have started to drive me insane to the point where they in cooperation have stopped recognizing my laptop's bluetooth module, wi-fi module, internal speakers, headphone jack and configurable screen brightness at the same time for no reason. even before that it took me 10 tries to send pictures from my phone to my laptop and 20 tries to connect my cat printer to it via bluetooth and messing with bluez didn't fix the problem at all. that and also fedora 34 removed the odd but very helpful option of manually setting screen refresh rate (with only two options to select from but somehow one of them made ps2 emulation a much more pleasant experience???), which i should've had recognized as a sign to jump ship back then but oh well
anyways, it's good to know that i'm not the only one to hate on gnome - https://woltman.com/gnome-bad/

hmm....... i think it started with a J...... and ended with et Set Radio............
