I accidentally turned Claude into my Chief of Staff.

Not a chatbot, someone who tracks my projects, briefs me every morning, and tells me when I’m overcommitting.

I almost didn't record a video this weekend. Tired, busy, “nobody will notice.”

But I’d been working on a talk about navigating uncertainty, and the framework was so fresh on my mind that I just walked into the forest and hit record:

- Toot a picture of some mushroom you ran into while walking in the forst

Over the weekend, I put together a video with 7 examples of how I use AI on a daily basis (plus one bonus example). From the mundane to the surprisingly useful: https://constantin.glez.de/posts/2026-03-01-video-what-i-actually-do-with-ai-every-day/

Yes, that's a point-of-sale thermal printer!

Turns out you can stop "prompt engineering" and start delegating instead.

Just tell AI what success looks like and why it matters. Like you'd brief a colleague.

You already have this skill. You've used it with humans for years.

Solitude. Wetland. Echo.

I really like the creature from ”Project Hail Mary“. So looking forward to the movie!

Yet, I can‘t help but think it looks like a Pebblit from “The Legend of Zelda“…

IMHO, the current software panic is a transformation, not an apocalypse, or "SaaSpocalypse" as some say.

Think de-centralization of software development.

Abundance, not scarcity.

Looks like there‘s a bug in the Claude app for macOS where Claude fails to activate a skill.

Until this is fixed, here‘s a workaround: unpack the Zip file with your skill (or look for its files in ~/.claude), attach the contents and ask it to activate from there.

Works for me, hope this helps!
