Hi all. It's been a while since I've asked, but I'm here again asking for you to support your local fediverse instance. I know many instance operators struggle to make ends meet each month, and there does seem to be a downward trend on donations across the board. If you love this place and are in a position to and your instance supports it, please consider supporting them.

Thank you!

> On November 28th, 2012, Randall Munroe published an xkcd comic that was a calendar in which the size of each date was proportional to how often each date is referenced by its ordinal name (โ€ฆ) "In months other than September, the 11th is mentioned substantially less often than any other date. It's been that way since long before 9/11 and I have no idea why." After digging into the raw data, I believe I have figured out why.

@bloody_albatross @BRicker it's quite an easy fix, too
@edgeofeurope @BRicker Exactly! Adding another finger to Wednesday's hand might be a bit more difficult, but still doable.

@bloody_albatross @edgeofeurope @BRicker Cartoon characters having 3 fingers is normal enough that I find haddock to be the odd one..

I guess the image that the AI stole Wednesday from was using the 3 finger style.

@tony @edgeofeurope @BRicker Thing also has 5 fingers and both, the Tintin comics and the old Adams Family comics seem to have 5 finger hands. But yes, it's about consistency and not weather its 4 or 5 fingers.
@tony @edgeofeurope @BRicker Also Thing is usually (but not always!) a right hand, but that is now nit picking.
