This month I developed a prototype for a block pusher/sokoban game called "Ice Melter". A playable version with nearly 40 levels is now available on itch for free! It contains 8 different block types and is playable in the browser or as a downloadable game for Windows and Linux. Hope you enjoy!

@kayin.moe I agree with everything you said. It's really sad to see the itch community turn on itself basically. The response has been really naive. Things like "There are poor LGBTQ artists who depend on itch!" yeah no shit, either their game gets removed or itch has no payment processors and noone earns a dime. I've also seen death threats and threats of lawsuits against the staff. These people have completely lose it.
@Harrison I liked it. It doesn't really provide any challenge because you can both push and pull. But you pointed out yourself that isn't the purpose of the game, for zoning out for a bit its nice. Simple but effective!
@lety nice action shot haha
@georgebsocial @agentultra Are you sure they didn't bundle Steam keys alongside their game on other platforms? If not then I stand corrected, I really thought otherwise
@georgebsocial @agentultra incorrect. You can price however you want on itch, gog, anything. The deal is not to sell ->Steam keys<- for less than you do on Steam. This is a widespread misconception.

@ZaZu80 Wow that looks amazing! Reminds me a lot of Grimrock, as an immersive first person dungeon crawler. Although it seems a bit more spacious than the Grimrock environments. I think the cramped interiors really sold that game.

The gif of rotating items reminds me of Amnesia/Penumbra, plus the darkness. Opening doors bit by bit in those games was so perfect. Your game looks really intense and pretty! Definite wishlist for me. Nice job👏

@britown Very well written article! I enjoyed reading it. You got something really nice going with the timeblock system
@PitheadStudio I don't know anything about your game but your stand rocks 🤘
@horizonsofachaea Haha how are we supposed to tell? Surely the spikes are function, not form.
