I talked to my mom yesterday who is 77 and has a bit dementia. She reminded me that today is Election Day and said she’d be going to vote. I like to remind young people of her when I tell them to vote, because 77 year olds with dementia should not be deciding their futures! And there are thousands just like her.
And yes, I voted from here in #Belize, by email earlier in the month.
I never really did an intro post here! I was @gibbalicious on Twitter. I lived in #Wichita for almost 20 years before packing up and moving to #Belize. I am a liberal in that I believe everyone has a right to be happy, billionaires should be taxed out of existence, women have a right to bodily autonomy and separation of church and state is imperative. I used Twitter as a microblog, meaning lots of quips about my own life and beliefs, usually with a punchline. #twittermigration
