La question de l’euthanasie est liée à celle du handicap.

Si vous pensez qu’il ne s’agit que de maladies en stade terminal, vous vous trompez.

Il s’agit de proposer à des personnes handicapées de les aider à se suicider.

Au Canada, la loi ouvre « l’aide médicale à mourir» aux personnes « atteintes d’une maladie, d’une affection ou d’un handicap grave et incurable ». Des handicapés moteurs ont demandé à mettre fin à leurs jours, parfois par manque de soins appropriés comme Normand Meunier, tétraplégique et mal soigné en 2024.

L’année précédente, Christine Gauthier réclamait une rampe pour son fauteuil, elle s’est entendue proposée par un employé gouvernemental de recourir à l’euthanasie.

I *really* really missed having a working gaming computer, and was possessed by the ghost of impulse purchases on credit, and bought myself an OLED Steamdeck console that FINALLY arrived (thanks international shipping being a disaster right now) and ... this thing is fantastic. There are so many games in my Steam library I can play again! This is so exciting! I've been playing Outward in between moving-related chores and ... this is honestly fantastic.

All right. I'm wrapping up this monster of a thread.

Thanks for following along. This has been an incredibly frustrating exercise. I obviously think Poilièvre is extremely horrible but Carney and the rest of that party is barely an improvement.

I think a two-party federation with Bonus Bloc is a bad recipe for the future. I think we need a party that actually represents the working class. I think we need a party that gives a shit about climate change. I think we need a party that isn't just a bunch of landlords and capitalists.

Okay I need to go lie down now. Night.
