🏹 RAPIDFIRE DISCOVERIES
This past Thursday, P1GG stunned the Conway's Game of Life world with their discovery of two tiny glider guns of periods 15 and 16.
P1GG's finds are the lowest-period glider guns yet discovered to be true-period. That is, the mechanisms that produce their gliders are actually periodic with periods 15 and 16!
It's a big leap forward for glider gun technology -- previously, the lowest period for which we had a true-period glider gun was 20.

Everything seems still... until you notice the stray glider on the move. What could it be up to?
Making an oscillator, of course!
This remarkable period-134 oscillator was found this week by Entity Valkyrie and reduced by P1GG and David Raucci. With a minimum population of 141, it's the smallest oscillator of its period by population.

ONE STEP AT A TIME
In this week's notable news from the Conway's Game of Life community, Goldtiger997 has completed the glider synthesis of the smallest c/6 diagonal spaceship, 77P6H1V1:
