Paid PhD candidates in the Netherlands are junior research, receiving salaries rather than scholarships/ bursaries. But that also mean that they already apply with a (tentative) research project in mind, that aligns with that of the PIs. You can read more details on our project in link and apply with a 800-1000 words proposal before 23rd of March. The position is intended to start in October.

Come work with me!
Erik Borra and I are looking for a PhD for our joint project on generative AI as epistemic tools, co-supervised with Bernhard Rieder. If you are (or know) brilliant MA graduates coming from media and communication studies, critical artificial intelligence, and/ or science and technology studies, interested in both working with and critiquing emerging GenAI technologies, this might be the job for you!
