OH: “What is it about DNS that people find so difficult? It’s just cache invalidation and naming things.”
@eon not open source but I’ve been using Yahoo! weather on iOS for years and I assume there is an android version. So far no AI. Doesn’t require a sign in and has a pretty clean and simple interface.

What is the most readable programming language? (I have an opinion but I want to know what others think.) Not asking for favorite language, but easiest to read.

It was getting long in the tooth, and I ordered an upgrade about a year ago. But by then, I did know who Elon was, and I was uncomfortable with the order. Then, he posted a typical “Jews are to blame for everything” post, and a friend of mine pointed out the hypocrisy of me having an order on a Tesla while having those issues with Elon. I cancelled the order. 4/5

I went from literally dreaming about owning a Tesla to being a proud Tesla owner to being ashamed of owning a Tesla.

@brook I voted customer non-owner because that is where my life is right now. At the right timings I might be very much interested in worker owner.

Start with the official tutorial https://go.dev/doc/tutorial/getting-started and then https://gobyexample.com and you will have learnt everything relevant.

This is an astonishingly well written article about bluesky and the current state of decentralization, with great criticism of Activity Pub. Her slight touch on threads felt like I want to know more there. This is my first brush with Christine Lemmer-Webber and I’m now a big fan. I rarely have the capacity to read long articles and I read every word. https://dustycloud.org/blog/how-decentralized-is-bluesky/ you can find her at https://social.coop/@cwebber or dustyweb.bsky.social

One really annoying aspect of the fragmentation after Twitter died is that my feeds on all of the things I am trying are full of app based tribalism. A large part of the discourse is people being smug about what app they are using or moving to or moved from. (Im aware of the irony of this post).
