I do apologize for my tone in that post, but I stand by what I said about needing more evidence before jumping to conclusions. Currently waiting to see if my appeal gets denied or approved. I'll keep you posted 😄

@[email protected] you're making a statement with the evidence you provided just based on two articles fro the same author. One author doesn't reflect the company as a whole. Plus, saying that people are converted to "all-out fascists" by the NY Times is a pretty bold statement (especially to make without much evidence provided). Do you have any more evidence to back up your claim?

In honor of #BlackHistoryMonth, here’s a great article about #SojournorTruth’s famous #AintIAWoman speech. The version many of us read in school was actually written by a white woman nearly *twelve years* after Truth’s speech. Frances Dana Gage took Truth’s words and rewrote them in a clunky Black slave dialect that undermined the perception of Sojournor’s intellect and played into the folksy (and deeply racist) Mammy trope.

So this is interesting...

Washington Post reporter Taylor Lorenz @taylorlorenz, who is famous in these circles for being banned from Twitter then reinstated after much outcry, has conducted an experiment to determine if view counts on Twitter are legitimate.

Surprise, she presents proof that they are not, as shown in the Tweet screenshot below.

Many stay on Twitter because they believe that their "engagement" is higher, but now it seems like they can not trust the numbers.
