Back from NYC and I finally got to watch the last ANDOR. I loved this show. It’s the only time in recent years that a project under the SW banner has moved away from the broad, mythic, goofy tone of the original movies and totally worked. I’m definitely a Rogue One fan though.
I spent some serious time studying the Tiepolo gallery at the Met when I was in NYC. Really looked close at those paintings. Seeing the drawing going on underneath. Inspiring stuff. Some details:
I loved the Edward Hopper show at the Whitney museum. So much process! Prep drawings, etchings and even the illustration work. Very inspiring.
I'm excited to be a part of the relaunch of Batman: The Brave and the Bold from DC Comics! I'm writing and drawing a serialized back-up story. It's going to be a lot of fun!
