I got a TC1280 rack delay for free recently. The MIDI input peaked my interest. Looking through the manual and it says "MIDI SYSEX documentation is available on request. Please contact your local TC distributor". Odd.
Seems like the MIDI implementation might be lifted from the TC2290, so will try to build a Max patch when I can to mangle the delay times. Not that I've missed sysex commands.

DJ Total Phase Check.

(This is for sale here in Denmark for 67 euros and no - I will definitely not consider buying it)

"Knifing Ravel" - a test of a recording approach for an album that never came to be.

In 2023 I experimented with prepared turntable setups. So I stuck a contact mic on a boxknife blade, letting it act as a makeshift pickup.

Appologies to the Ravel admirers. Live looping with an Octatrack I had back then, choice pieces of outboard gear.

The result is this incredibly textural and dense layers of drowned and washed-out orchestral drones. I never recorded an album with it.

Renoise mini sketches medley from last month or so. Never thought I'd care for trackers, but this is very fun. Straight for the ZL.

Sudden Smorgasbord.
Name your price.
Amalgamation of recent gestures.

A Copenhagen acquaintance is close to finishing up building a 4 track looper with built in FX and a few neat utility tricks up its sleeve, I have it out for a test run and beta testing. Easily one of the most intuitive machines of this sort I've used. It is currently unnamed and not for sale yet.
The audio is a multitrack thing of me feeding it some various source and mixing it about.

"Bitter Magic". In 4 parts.

Recorded at home in late March 2026.

This was once a recording of an EMS Putney. Source recorded at the Institute of Sonology in 2020 or so.
Mangled in Supercollider.

Sidenote: I've almost only ever used Izotope's RX as a denoise and repair tool, but it's a completely usable audio editor for odd processing. The pitch algos are especially fun for mangled textures.

DC motor shaft on zither string.
Lovely overtone drone.
