Jack cashed out and sold to a known lunatic. And now he wants to do it again. Fuck that guy.

I was just informed by a junior team member that I lacked "tact" and failed to "read the room".

Kids got a point. I tend to speak my mind. I'm old and time is valuable. I state my opinions, based upon my experience, as clearly as I can and have little patience for meandering and convoluted solutions to simple problems. They're called patterns for a reason.

I did thank them for their candor and promised to try and be less abrasive. We both know it ain't gonna change.

Wow, I have not been a good #Fediverse citizen. I jumped on the bandwagon, followed a bunch of people and promptly went back to the bird site when it didn't implode.

Months later as I catch up, I see the people I follow are still here posting wonderful and informative content. Things I'm not going to see anywhere else.

Anyway, where else would I put a picture of the human that has brought me more joy than I ever imagined possible.

Many many years back I marketed (badly) for a guy who built a "One Night Out" kit and sold them from his bar.

The kit had:
- 1 condom
- 2 Tylenol
- his&her toothbrushes and travel sized toothpaste
- vouchers for coffee at his brother's diner
- lip balm

His regulars bagged them up for cheap beers and he sold them for $4.99 from a repurposed chip rack. He couldn't make them fast enough.
