@rae it took me nearly ten years of actually LIVING in the city before I had no choice but to do one of these. So kudos and my recommendation is four left hand turns to avoid the next :D
@web_goddess oof good luck - maybe take a look at some optometrist stores in the shopping centers or near where a lot of students might congregate?
@web_goddess I found that Specsavers had a range that included enough low bridge/asian fit frames for me to find one I liked. Plus they also were able to make the lenses thin enough given my high prescription. But before I ended up there I did find that the optometrists in suburbs or areas with high asian populations tended to have more range to fit my nose bridge (though not necessarily my wallet!).
@web_goddess with regards to the nose bridge issue, did you check for optometrist stores that cater to 'low bridge fit' glasses (also sometimes referred to as 'asian fit')?

Why do people complain about summer not having any recent days over 40 degrees?
A good summer is when the weather stays mostly in the mid to late twenties with lots of dry heat.
If we can put through requests on weather, that'd be my request. Just keep it in the mid to late twenties, dry heat, low to no humidity and the occasional rain to keep everything green and unlikely to burst into flame.
