Making a bigger mess to clean up the previous mess...
Bay Area Mesh keeps expanding. Check the map here: https://meshview.bayme.sh/map . I am posting about it because it finally works for me - I can receive and send.
Recommended settings are Medium Fast, 7 hops max. I've done a traceroute across 185 miles, 4 hops there and 4 hops back. In an area with neighbors, meshtastic works very well.
