I have a *deep* affection for #Destiny and #Destiny2. I have logged thousands of hours in the franchise, going back to its 2014 launch. It's a game that has crawled (slowly at times) towards the original vision we were pitched in the early days of Bungie's independence, and is now a dense, wonderful experience.
That being said, between where my life is at with work and as a husband/dad, the time the game demands has made it incompatible as a hobby. I don't play anymore.
It only took 5+ years, but tonight I completed “Under a Red Moon” and subsequently completed the final of the #BreathOfTheWild’s 120 shrines, unlocking the “of the Wild” equipment set. (My son was there to witness the feat before bedtime.)
What an incredible game. Here’s to new adventures in #Hyrule on Friday!
The NYT gets dragged a lot, and with some good reason, but this feels like some alternate reality-tier insanity on their part. They deserve all the criticism in the world for this sort of content. Stop enabling elites with platforms for image rehab.
The last images I want to see of her in the public eye are after her hearing; it's so disingenuous to have a NYT photoshoot with your baby when you're talking about being a different person. Gross.
Rewatching #Community for the first time in a few years, as I am wont to do during a crunch. Deep in a show hole, half paying attention, I just started a new episode only to be greeted with the most glorious sight.
One of the most perfect episodes of television that will ever be made.
Happy #MardiGras from Covington!
Y’all… they’re as good as I remember!
