There is something liberating to the far right. They say, “we don’t care about recycling”, and, “we don’t care about fossil fuels” - a release from guilt, responsibility and the exhausting moral demands of a collapsing world.

On the other side, contemporary, mainstream leftism is still mostly concerned with identity maintenance and offers no real alternative to the capitalist disorder - only moral gestures and symbolic performances.
