Even in 2005 YouTube was being updated almost constantly and the site never became totally unusable. A handful of guys working out of an apartment were better developers than basically everybody running the internet now.

Been seeing videos on YouTube about people buying replica c64 and Spectrum computers and it bums me out that we’ll never see that sort of thing for the Apple II. I know they’re not that kind of company but it would be cool if Apple made a run of Apple //e reproductions with new hardware and stuff, or at least allow a third party company to make one. The Apple II was a really cool computer.

I still see people hesitant to switch to Linux because of how difficult it can be, and I guess it depends on what you’re using it for, but I’ve been using Mint as my main OS for over four years now and I’ve had way fewer problems than I did with like, Windows 98 or 2000.
