@vampiress what an incredibly condescending take... you think watching a few hours of a show you understand a universe gamers have spent thousands of hours exploring every nook and cranny of XD. the show is based on the game, not the other way around. all of this is in the games. the lore is deep. to paraphrase the headline "only someone who disrespects games could miss it"
@futurebird i've seen criticism of the suggestion "join a different server". however with mastodon not being a monolith that is the solution. it is the federated equivalent to choosing one monolithic platform over another (i.e. twitter over truth social or parlor).
join a server that takes moderation seriously and blocks servers that don't. if your server doesn't do that to your satisfaction, leave in favor of one that's moderation is more in line with what you want.

@tony i feel like more people should focus on that the flight tracking displays their extreme wastefulness. they dont like being called out for things like 9 minute flights. thats the journalistic use of the trackers, show how they talk about the environment out one side of their mouths then wreck it with the other.
