Frank is the Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Georgia.

Wonder what an Episcopal bishop actually does?

Here is a glimpse in my 2022 Journal:

Journal 2022

I think we’re going to see the end of walled garden social networks. Twitter’s and Facebook’s stories feel like they’re coming to an end.
Activity Pub (or somethink like it) that connects services is likely the future. Kinda like SMTP.
Look, I am not a conspiracy theory person, but I don't understand why - in the year of our Lord 2022 - there are still huge swaths of documents about the assassination of JFK that haven't been released.

O God, you have caused this holy night to shine with the brightness of the true Light: Grant that we, who have known the mystery of that Light on earth, may also enjoy him perfectly in heaven; where with you and the Holy Spirit he lives and reigns, one God, in glory everlasting. Amen.

My painting of the Holy Family from Christmas 2021.

Last night in our Advent movie watching, we went with White Christmas (1954) and tonight with A Boy Called Christmas (2021) and in both kindness and concern for others brings hope.
The Diocese of Georgia is offering daily devotions for a 7-week study from Advent through Epiphany that Victoria and I wrote. PDF and ePub versions of the full devotional are online now. All the free resources are offered for anyone to use:

Feast of Feasts

Ten years ago on the day after Thanksgiving, I created this stop motion movie with my brothers-in-law. After a downfall, a hero rises to the challenge of bringing a group together with a common purpose. Yes, we spent hours on the video and soundtrack of this 35-second film. https://youtu.be/Usyxjxy6tME

I have so much I am grateful for, including Thanksgiving with Victoria’s family gathered for the feast in Statesboro.
Church nerds unite! I am at an initial meeting for many of the key committees and commissions of the Episcopal Church where my part is serving as Vice Chair to Structure, Governance, Constitution, and Canons. The Rev. Kelly Steele, Rector of St. Peter’s in Savannah is in the State of the Church Committee. Every level of the church from parish to denomination depends on committee leaders giving their gifts as parts of the Body of Christ.

My sermon for our convention Eucharist. The overwhelmingly Good News is that the God who made us, loves us, and wants better for us is with us now and in every moment of our very real, sometimes glorious, sometimes messy, lives.
