Very happy about the result but it was a case of winning “ugly”. So many ups and downs in the match. Carlos really needs to work on his serve. Zverez had no energy left at the end. He lost even though he had like 75% of first serves in. If he can’t win with those numbers I don’t think he will ever win one. He was talking about his conditioning in the press conference but he seems oblivious to the fact that Carlos and Sinner are much younger than him. He will never have an advantage in that department. Now onto the grass court season!

I don’t think he can sustain this level. There will surely be nerves and the opponent is no slouch on the return. But it will be interesting to see.
