Over the past few weeks our partners in the #UK and #USA have expressed concern the #IsraelPalestineConflict may spread to other areas.
It didn’t happen quickly enough so they have started to bomb #Yemen.
We’re helping out as well.
A Houthi official says raids have been conducted in several Yemeni cities, including the capital Sana'a, with a US official saying strikes against the Iran-backed group were carried out by air and sea.
First Nations health professionals and those living with chronic health issues say they are "disappointed" and "deeply saddened" following Senator Jacinta Nampijinpa Price's claims First Nations Australians are not living with ongoing negative impacts of colonisation.

Well, what's the death toll due to #RoboDebt?
Was #PeterDutton pushing for a presumption of innocence for those innocent folk who #ScottMorrison and colleagues targeted illegally? Did he come out and say, " Call off the #DebtCollectors"?
No, Dutton went along with the brutality that resulted in multiple suicides.
Dutton and #Roberts are OK with victimisation and brutality for the unemployed. And they want civility for themselves.
#Grubs.
“Vejo com preocupação a possibilidade iminente de extradição do jornalista Julian Assange. Assange fez um importante trabalho de denúncia de ações ilegítimas de um Estado contra outro. Sua prisão vai contra a defesa da democracia e da liberdade de imprensa. É importante que todos…”
The problem the Liberal Party has is this. Those who want to bring their party into the 2020s are shouted down by those who grew up on a diet of kicking down.
I call it the Howard doctrine. During a time of unprecedented wealth, parts, not all, of the boomer generation bit down hard on this doctrine.
Howard was a master at this sort of politics. He tapped into an illusion, a fantasy that all the wealth being accumulated was all down to hard work. In reality it was a mix of hard work, good luck, massive middle class tax breaks for property owners and living in an abnormal economic period that we will never see again.
He convinced these voters that those not doing well only had themselves to blame, not the system. It was a masterful illusion.
Many who now shout down Liberal MPs or activists who want to modernise long for the Howard era. Hence they are always looking for that next victim.
They make statement’s like “broad church” but in reality have no want or need to talk to the middle - a middle that is rapidly growing and also intolerant - of these hard right wing talking heads.
