I haven't been here for a while now. Been adulting pretty hard lately and needed a break from the internet. But I'll be over at @fourjuaneight if anyone would like to follow me 🤘🏽

We Are Having Too Many Meetings

I often find myself buried under a mountain of meetings, each one chipping away at my focus and productivity. While collaboration is crucial, the avalanche of pointless discussions has become an overwhelming distraction that stifles creativity and innovation.

We are fully moved into the new home and mostly done unpacking 😪

The house came with some smart home stuff that I wanted to integrate to our HomeKit setup. So I figured I'd try Home Assistant instead to build a more robust ecosystem.

Terrible idea. Spent the whole day fighting this stupid software. So I tried just using HomeBridge instead and adding the plugin to communicate with the other devices.

It took me 15 minutes 🙃

I don't know why I keep using these dumb smart home things...

Life has gotten in the way for the last month. But I think things are back to normal. I miss blogging. I have so much crap in my head I need to get out 😬
It's the last day of moving. The movers come in tomorrow and take everything. I just need this to be done. I'm so tired 🫠

I've missed Sam for a long time (or: Pick Your Battles)

A very good website by visual & verbal artist, Keenan.

Hello insomnia my old friend. I've come to talk with you again.
I used to think people were a little too obsessed with playing Pokémon on their GameBoys. I was a huge fan back when I was a kid. But ever since I got my Analogue Pocket and started playing Pokémon Yellow and Crystal...I get it. Pokémon is my comfort game ☺️

I remember that 8-10 years ago, online reviews and experiences shared by other buyers were more valuable.

New fridge? I should have purchased one 10 years ago.

New home? I need a house built 30 years ago, renovated, and "affordable".

Best neighborhoods in my state? I should have moved 15 years ago.

Absolutely every single review, advice, and suggestion I've read online this whole month has been 100% useless 🫠

I fucking hate moving
