i like bad computers and slow cars
one weird side effect of my scope being (half) out of commission is that I've been using a Saleae to time my engine...
More specifically, I'm using it to inform/validate the timing of a cam sensor I'm adding, since the original engine management didn't need it (batch fire injectors, distributor ignition) and the current ECU gets away with it via wasted spark...but I want perfect information for a handful of admittedly somewhat silly reasons.

well, this is kind of baffling: Porsche (or whoever) used a grain-of-wheat incandescent bulb behind a red filter (left, for status) and an yellow-orange-y LED (right, for nighttime illumination) that matches the rest of the (incandescent!) interior lighting in the same assembly.
