Sure! Just ask if you need more details.

If you don’t mind saying, what kind of tools do you use? (I’m pretty ignorant about electronic music production, but I’ve played around a bit with VCV Rack and some of the emulators on roland50.studio.)

Almost the entire song was created on the computer. The digital audio workstation used was Reaper; the synth sounds came from Zynaddsubfx and Vaz, along with a fair amount of delay, reverb, and distortion plugins. The vocals were recorded with a large-diaphragm microphone. The metal percussion sounds are older; I sampled and processed them on a hardware sampler back then.

I don’t know anything about And One or Test Department, but this song is pretty fucking awesome. I got out my best headphones so I could pick out all the different sounds in there, it’s got a lot of things happening. I especially like the lower bass rumbling sounds you got going on. Something in the middle range sounds really “funky” too (in a good way!) I bet this would be amazing to hear on the large speakers at the club.

Awesome! Thank you so much for this comment. It really means a lot to me when someone engages with my music in this way. ❤️🤘🤘

Ah, I see. There’s no preview for YouTube videos, so I posted the cover image… but that didn’t work as a link. I’ve changed it.

I don’t see the link. Sorry, I don’t understand, do you mean a “link” or a connection?

That’s difficult to answer. Perhaps you can find out more in the Test Department? ;-)
Yes, it’s very intense. Thanks for listening!

I’d be happy if you listened to my new song.🤘

Hey, thanks so much for your interest in my stuff. The video for Jahrmarkt der Illusionen was a big project for me. I wanted to tell my own story with it, but I often ran into the limitations of AI. I probably even trained the AI with my own ideas during the creation process. Some features were implemented in the AI right during video production, like the motion capture in the chorus. And as you’ve rightly noticed, the possibilities have developed significantly since the Klick Klick video.

Thank you very much for the invitation to post; I gladly accept it. 🤘

Yes, it’s a pretty crazy situation. Somehow it got in the back door and no one stopped it. And now it’s here and won’t go away. What I find important is to state when and for what it was used.
