Decided to go get some pictures of the snow around Rancho San Antonio and Black Mountain.
@orko It's not a proper interagency transfer if you don't need to walk a quarter mile to transfer between systems.

@orko I mean, the 280 thing definitely predates the bike path by the reservoir, and at that point the long detour almost certainly was worse...
Definitely not the thing to spend effort on advocating for, though.
Foothill is also an interesting case due to the wide shoulder, lack of parking/driveways, infrequent intersections, and unusually high density of cyclists. I still avoid it though.
@orko you didn't take the section of I-280 that you're allowed to bike on :(
@orko I would simply obsessively record all of my bike rides on Strava, obviating the need for automatic detection of those rides by my phone.
