I am blessed to have a really great machining mentor. Last night, I had him over for Nepalese food at the work table and an evening of (successfully!) problem-solving the disassembly of a century-old machine, fueled by our collective ingenuity, wonder, and joy.
Corny? Maybe. But growing up, I stayed away from this stuff because, well, dudes. I’m so glad I overcame and found my people.
Machines are the best.
