2. The studios could reshoot two versions: one agreeable to China and only to be shown in mainland China, and a second version with maps without the illegal nine-dash line, to be shown in all other countries.

1. The studios could cut out scenes depicting maps with the illegal nine-dash line. Any reference to the nine-dash line must also be removed from any lines spoken, sound effects, soundtracks, start/end credits, and in any merchandise like DVDs in future.

All South East Asians should boycott the Barbie movie because of the nine-dash line. We should also boycott Uncharted, and Abominable. Our governments may not want to antagonize, but we the citizens should let the world know what the real people of South East Asia think.

I’m well aware that the studios would rather sacrifice a small market like SEA (South East Asia) than risk losing the box office in China.
