despite western honeys being the most famous, there are more solitary bees than ones who function in big hives.
solitary bees tend to make burrows, or at least a lot of the ones ive seen do! like the carpenter bee. they have different rooms for larvae and food!!
solitary bees dont produce honey. only honey bees do which is. the the apis genus, i think
this is probably my favourite bee aside from. little bee lost who doesnt have a scientific name i think.

they do not pee. or at least workers dont. they only live for like 30 days so theres not much point getting rid of it. they just use all the liquid!
LOOK AT HER this is apis mellifera, the western honey bee, the queen of the bees. she's uhhh native to america i think but kinda everywhere at this point.
