@kzrutherford think it is still a bit early. Maybe around 65 minutes.
@Timo_Micro Could depend on the monster they are fighting. I would usually go with fewer mobs instead of lower HP.
The real challenge comes when the party faces multiple encounters in a day. You want to give the players reasons to have to worry about resources like hp and spell lots. It could be better to come up with two encounters separated by a puzzle or trap.
