For some unknown to me reason I thought I'd be a good idea to change the connector on the control board side for the weather radar... so I have a fully working weather radar panel but no way to connecting it... so weather radar inop for congress...
I thought I got the flaps and speed brakes into shape for congress.... kinda got those working... but there's a bug I just can't fix (and the instructions are printed now and say flaps control with buttons, instead of the handle) so also inop

And also... I'd be giving quite a bit of money to companies for what could be dirt cheap if it wasn't for those profiteering money pirates... and I dislike that too. (idk how healthy the xplane community is but if I'm not developing stuff, I don't know if I had much contact with that anyways)

So steam puts me into a position to rethink all those things... in a time where I'm already stressed and overloaded aaaaaa

I've been thinking for a while about switching away from flightgear cause too much instability in the rare cases I wanna fly, too little team spirit in certain parts I want to work on and hostility towards queer folks (low key fascism) without much moderation intervention on the forum.

Now steam offers xplane for a good bit cheaper than usual... would give me comparable scenery out of the box but would need to spend more money on getting an A320...

I think we do need to declare the flaps and speed brake levers inop for congress too...

Today isn't getting better than yesterday either... 1 step forward and 2 steps back!
and that also cause of lack of concentration, making simple mistakes but solving them runs into issues (cause screw worn out so I can't unscrew it again) just aaaa

Day isn't getting better... tried to connect the 2nd MCDU to the sim PC... vertical USB port breaks off instantly... so won't have a 2nd MCDU for congress 😔

turns out our laptop misbehaves... if we connect it to our pc, it works...
too bad that device was intended to be used with our laptop 😔

nothing works!
I figured out what was wrong with one of the pcbs... fixed it... it shows up via usb maybe 1 out of 20 times!

Next pcb, after messing up the soldering AGAIN I finally flash it... with the very same firm ware I already have on the other one... same issue!

Since I wasn't able to find the issue with my rasppi psu pcb... does anyone have a psu that can power a rasppi 2 or 3 which I can borrow for #39c3 ?
