We just got picked as one of the greatest films of all time for Julis Dash’s Daughters of the Dust, in a critics poll by Sight and Sound Magazine, we tied with Barry Jenkins’ Moonlight. The film was shot by Arthur Jafa and art directed by Kerry James Marshall. Mom seems intent on learning Chess from her 7 year old great-granddaughter. They were at it for an hour. I'll have to get a new board now🙃 #teachyourelderswell
Mom popped by my place for 2 days, it ended up being a week. I realized I hadn't spend this kind of solitary time with her since I was born in 1953. We had a ball, I got behind on work, but what hell. We had fun.
