I did the same thing some years ago and I like the simplicity. In the past I used Lightroom to be like a "real" photographer but now I just shoot in JPEG and import everything directly from my Fuji into Apple Photos.

My Apple Developer account still had an address stored from more than 10 years ago. For changing it I had to go through the support which only took about two weeks 😯
