It's not really worth it to run a small instance I'm finding federation to be too limited this way

I honestly thought the system was on its last legs

I'm gonna need to find a real instance to be on maybe

I had my instance go into maintenance mode, I was going to take it down, but changed my mind. Could there be a glitch with federation cuz of that.

Frankly I am ok with people not liking me, I'm worried more that I dragged my partners into a bad place with them joining me here.

So I look at a post someone made and there's about fifteen replies. Tons of instances I have mutuals on even. I look at the post on my account logged in, the replies aren't there. But if I look at the profiles of the people who posted them, I can see them in the posts and replies column. But for some reason, they aren't showing when I look at the post.

@Aleums wait if that's the case, should I not be able to see them in search? Like I can see the accounts and even posts when logged in on their profile, but not in response to the post. I'm not thinking I'm defederated cuz I can follow people there.
