Might change my avatar too, heads up! 💜
My intro post for this instance is nearly a year old :o I should make a new intro!
But sometimes of course, "queer friendly" does not imply trans friendly! So I'm really grateful for Mae and the respect they're showing them. :,) It feels like a "fuck you" to any transphobes watching.

Obviously it was only episode 1, but I have hope and faith that it will continue to be positive!!

From my experience and my perspective at least (watching pretty much all series of the show), it's got more diverse compared to how it was in early episodes, and has generally seemed to be very queer friendly.

And I know using their right pronouns is the *bare minimum*, but - being trans in the UK right now (especially so publicly on TV) is.. a big deal, with everything going on politically. So honestly I feel very grateful for taskmaster and Mae. I feel like I'm seeing someone like me on TV, and they are being completely respected, and not compromising themselves or having their identity questioned by those around them.
They're the first trans person to be a contestant on taskmaster and it feels really important and exciting to see :') it made me so happy to see Greg and Alex casually use their pronouns with no issue.
I started the new series of taskmaster today and Mae Martin is in it !! :') they're really cool and funny and cute, i love their show Feel Good and also watched their netflix special recently!
wishing all my friends a very pleasant
downfall of capitalism soon please & great mental health
