@antifawarlord I'm just saying it's futile to focus on disarming homicidal maniacs. Sorry if I was being cryptic. The real problem in USA leading to mass shootings is insanity - guns are violent by design, so "gun violence" is not something that's avoidable without removing guns entirely.

@flexghost While we're taking guns away from people, we should also take missiles away from governments. I'm pretty sure a lot of people get killed in missile strikes too.

@flexghost Take away the guns and you still have homicidal maniacs willing to kill children. I still see that as a problem, regardless of whether or not gun laws are too lax. There will still be guns, and there will still be victims. If the goal is to prevent innocent people from being randomly murdered, we should really focus on the deplorable mental health of young Americans. How do you propose we solve the gun problem anyway? Do we pre-emptively label people as future mass murderers?
