Hi there. A completely blind person who loves all things animal, having 3 pets, never get bored of them :). Also love music, gaming, reading and other things here and there. Feel free to ask to learn more. Love to meet new friends. I'm of the mindset that loyalty is a two-way street. You do for me, I do for you. If you like this, lets chat.

That moment when you apply to a mastodon instance, and the settings thing says that your account is pending review, but right under there it says fully operational? Uh...OK?
Notepad3 seems to be based on Notepad2, but it actually gets updates. Apparently the Notepad replacement process also works on Windows 11. https://www.rizonesoft.com/downloads/notepad3/
Notepad3 → Rizonesoft

Notepad3 is a fast and light-weight Scintilla-based text editor with syntax highlighting. It has a small memory footprint, but is powerful enough to handle most programming jobs.

So has anyone noticed the thing I'm noticing? Back when IOS didn't suffer from the plethora of bugs its suffering from now, it was a god among phones. Everything a blind person had to say about iOS was all sorts of epic. Now, because there are bugs, yes, many of them I'll admit, and yes, some that shouldn't exist, I'll admit, blind people can't stop complaining. Perhaps its more than the blind but I speak for what I know for sure here. Just goes to show that god-like status isn't permanent eh?

Someone told me that the messenger app for windows is accessible? Well without the nvda addon messages won't read so um, no, not accessible.

Elon, what if we could create a machine that can clone human memories?! We'll call it 'The Memory-Cloner'.

All we need is the ability to accurately map neural pathways and store them in a database. Think about how much people will love you when you make it possible to relive memories without ever having to actually experience them!

As a reminder Bookshare's membership fee for individuals who are not students will be increasing starting the week of May 8, according to Bookshare's Web site. If your membership is set to expire soon you may want to renew early to save yourself some money. Also, don't forget that many libraries in the U.S. offer complimentary access to Bookshare for their patrons. If you're not sure if this is available for your library it's worth reaching out to them to inquire. https://www.bookshare.org/cms/help-center/faqs-about-bookshares-updated-fee

#UnpopularPost. Not only is AI vocal music getting scary but so is AI generated beats and music itself. To those prods out there who charge 50+ dollars per beat, I wouldn't expect that business to run high, because people will just go for the ai gens soon, considering how good they're getting. Can't blame them tbh, so much to pay for a two minute beat. Again, unpopular post so don't expect agreement, but there you have it.
Oh so tweesecake does update, but not immediately.
