Something I 100% recommend is enabling the "Restore to Active Monitor" setting in ConEmu quake mode.

This means that if you use multiple monitors and multiple Windows desktops (like I do), then the keyboard shortcut will bring your ConEmu down on whatever monitor/desktop you are currently working on.
