Friday was EARMA AI day in Brussels where we discussed the use of AI in writing research proposals. And I had some thoughts on the potential consequences on gender and diversity. Hint - I'm sceptic of how we will use it.

Thursday morning we'll be recording an episode of the podcast based on the discussions around indicators and research culture and REF. The working title is "in defence of indicators in research culture - and why people outside the UK should care." Bu we want your input. Are there topics you ensy us to cover? Perspectives? We need help to keep the rage away and stay constructive?

Our conversation centered around her book "Making Meaningful Impact" and how diversity and internationalisation challenges impact - but also how impact creates possibilites for diversity and internationalisation.

Off to do my first presentation on gender and diversity in research in Danish. So far we have been presenting abroad, so my vocabulary on the topic is much broader and precise in English. But here we go.

New episode out of "The Diversity in Research Podcast" where we talk to Alfredo Carpineti about "Pride in Stem" and why the organisation is important and how we can all support LGTBQ+ researchers at a time when LGBTQ+ rights are politicised in many countries.
As a gay man - this is of course a topic near and dear to my heart.
But it is also the 50th episode of the podcast which is absolutely bonkers.
