Thinking back today on when I spoke with a very smart @farriss about 14 years ago about when things are hard. She said:

‘When things are hard, ask yourself - out loud - “why is this hard?”. The answer is because your sense of what is normal has changed to something else. Once you realise that, things become easier.’

Smart words that dented my brain. And, to this day, has been 100% true.
