@daringfireball re: the Touch Bar, I agree that having some 3Dness would improve it. Maybe touch would show an on screen indicator, and force press [for those who remember their iPhone6s] would activate that 'key', now it would be more useable without looking directly at it.
But if they [hopefully] bring it back, they first must make it standard on all models. If it's an option on a subset of machines, there is no incentive for Devs to build in support.
