Finished trimming out the interior of my new windows. Went with faux marble look for the new window sills. Later this week I do the tall windows.

Fixing up my 1973 tin can. I cannot believe how badly built this is. 3 2x2's hold up the windows. Years of water damage turned the old sill into sawdust held together with a thin laminate. I admit to cheaping out with 3/4" MDF, but it'll paint nice, & I've replaced the windows.
My 14-1/2 year old pup had a large tumor with a fluid filled cyst removed. Over 8" long sutures underneath & staples to close. He got up this AM at 5:30 as usual, so I'm pleased w/ his progress
Waiting for old Milton to blow me away, so made another apple pie, & have a loaf of french bread in the bread machine. Cut the last 15 minutes with the exposed crust down to about 10 minutes.
Had some grossly overripe bananas & wanted a different banana bread so I picked a new recipe. This is dinner, I worked through & got home at 3:30 so lunch was at 4:00pm, now at 9:10PM this is dinner.

Friends, I’ve shared some of this with you, but today marks 60 years since it happened — when the Klan murdered my protector. I was always the shortest kid in school, which made me an easy target for bullies. To protect myself, I got into the habit of befriending older boys who’d watch my back.
