We have a new title winner!
Lando Norris is there. A terrific 2025 season ends with McLaren to celebrate their first drivers' championship since Lewis Hamilton was a young pup in 2008.
Red Bull's Max Verstappen is still in the hunt for a fifth consecutive drivers' championship.
The Dutchman takes the Qatar Grand Prix win, beating both McLaren drivers, who didn't stop during that safety-car period.

Holy f*cking crap!
After 22 of 24 Formula 1 races in the 2025 the World-championship got more exciting.
McLaren drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri have been disqualified from the Las Vegas Grand Prix for illegal plank wear, propelling Max Verstappen right back into the drivers' title fight.

F1's rulebook states the thickness of the planks underneath both cars must be no less than 9mm, but McLaren's two cars were found to be below that after Saturday night's race.

Max Verstappen takes his second victory in Las Vegas courtesy of about as comfortable a performance as you will see.
He prospered after Lando Norris botched a move on him into the first corner from the race start and never looked back.

Lando Norris will start the 2025 F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix from pole position.

Norris mastered tricky conditions to take his third consecutive F1 pole, beating Max Verstappen to top spot in qualifying. Heavy rain affected the entirety of the session, forcing all of the grid to run on full wets initially.

Despite a mistake in the final sector, he beat Verstappen’s provisional pole time by 0.3s.

Sainz missing out on a front-row start. Mercedes’ George Russell will start fourth, ahead of Piastri.

Another perfect weekend for championship leader Lando Norris!
The McLaren driver secures two pole positions and two race victories at Interlagos.
